Brain Egan and Pynne Luebbert

Brian Egan, CMKBD, is our Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer, accredited through the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Pynne Luebbert, AKBD, is our Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from Oregon State University.

The first step in the design process is an in-home consultation with one of our designers. It's an opportunity to discuss ideas that help determine a direction for the room design. The designer takes measurements and draws a floor plan of the existing room.

It's a good idea to have some pictures cut out from remodeling magazines or ideas of things that you prefer, and to have a budget in mind so that the designer can create a plan that is both to your taste and within your budget. We charge $100.00 for the initial consultation which usually takes between one and two hours for a kitchen and under an hour for a bathroom. We charge $80.00 an hour for design services beyond the initial consultation and the cost of the design is credited to the job if Corvallis Custom Kitchens & Baths is hired to do the remodeling. At this point if you would like us to draw up a set of plans for you, we will discuss the cost of the plans and a design agreement will be written and signed.

Your designer will draw floor plans and set up a second meeting at our office to review the plans with you. When you have selected a design that meets your needs we will finalize the plans package. The finished package will include a floor plan, an electrical plan, elevation drawings of the cabinetry, a set of specifications and a price quote.

At this point, you can also hire Corvallis Custom Kitchens & Baths to do the remodeling work. There are many advantages to having us do both the design and the remodeling. First of all, it saves time by having the design and construction flow as one continuous process so the work can move forward as our construction schedule allows. Also, the communication between our construction crew and designers helps the crew be more efficient and productive. During the design phase, the client has an opportunity to build a relationship with our company fostering better communication and a more effective work environment. There is also one expert instead of two independent companies having responsibility for your project.

Whether your choice is strictly design or remodel with design, our professional staff looks forward to working with you!

We offer seminars to help you begin the remodeling process. This 2-hour seminar, offered in spring, fall and winter, covers topics like how to hire a contractor, what your design should include, what materials are available, and information about contracts.
