Brian and I have received so many kind compliments on the work we did to restore the Caton House and turn it into our offices and showroom. We still want to add more landscape plants but for now it’s a huge improvement over what it was.
The building has so much character, and we love the showroom layout and offices – especially all the windows! It’s perfect for our quarterly remodeling seminars and other classes we hold there. We now have lots of parking and there’s even a Caton House geocache on the property.
Eventually we plan to add an historic plaque explaining some of the history of this great house, the oldest in Corvallis still on its original land. Caton House was built in 1857 and is listed on the National Historic Register.
